USPA NEWS - James Arthur Crumley (1939 ““ 2008) was the Author of Violent Hardboiled Crime Novels and Several Volumes of Short Stories and Essays, as well as Published and Unpublished Screenplays. He has been described as "One of Modern Crime Writing's Best Practitioners", who was "a Patron Saint of the Post-Vietnam Private Eye Novel" and a Cross between Raymond Chandler and Hunter S. Thompson. His Book "The Last Good Kiss" has been described as "The Most Influential Crime Novel of the last 50 Years.

- "FAUSSE PISTE" (The Wrong Case) Published in France by Gallmeister Editions. The Wrong Case by James Crumley is the First in Crumley's Milo Milogovitch Detective Series. John D. Voelker (1903 ““ 1991), also known by his Pen Name Robert Traver, was a Noted Lawyer, Author and Fly Fisherman. His early Professional Career was as an Attorney and County Prosecutor in Marquette County. John D.Voelker was also appointed to the Michigan Supreme Court 1957. He is Best Known as the Author of the Novel, "Anatomy of a Murder", published in 1958. The Best-Selling Novel was turned into an Academy Award-Nominated Film of the same name“”directed by Otto Preminger and starring James Stewart“”that was released July 1, 1959. Duke Ellington wrote the Music for the Movie. It is critically acclaimed as one of the Best Trial Movies of all time....
